Event overview

Inner City Running Club are back and hosting another exciting 5K Sunday 3rd of August 2025. This year will be our 5th annual run, and we are going big! Bigger than ever! Weekend full of activities and fun! Not to be missed! More information to follow, in the meantime check out last years weekend brochure and schedule below!

Group Sign Ups

We are currently holding a competition for group sign ups. Gym or Club with the most sign ups to the August Bank Holiday 5K will win a reward! Group sign up competition updates will be posted on our Instagram.

What you can expect at the event

Everyone who signs up to the race event will receive a medal and a shirt for the event. Fun & Games , live entertainment including musicians, dj and acts!. More information will be updated via our Instagram. For now you can check out last years event brochure below.

FAQ

What time does the event start at? Official start time is pending. All details will be posted via our Instagram page or on this website page. Race start for the past event has been at 9AM. The pre warmup before the race starts at 7:45am. Bag drop is at 7am.

What is the location? The Bank Holiday event is held at Henrietta House, Henrietta Place, Dublin 1.

What time is the bag drop?Bag drop usually starts at 7am on race day.

Will I get the number posted to me?If you selected postage during registration then everything will be posted to you. Otherwise you will have to collect your kit and number during Expo.

Where is the Expo?The Expo is held at Henrietta House, Henrietta Place, Dublin 1. Exact time , dates and details are yet to be announced. All updates will be updated via our Instagram and our website.

What if l forget my race number?If you forget your number for the race day, please get in touch with one of the stewards and we will provide you with a temporary number.

Can I collect my friends race number?Yes you can, no problem at all! Collection can be made during Expo.

Is there parking?The nearest parking for the event would be Jervis, llac and Cineworld (Parnell Centre) .

Are there water stations and first aid at the event?Yes there are 2 water stations along the event course. Exact location and details are yet to be announced. All updates will be updated via our Instagram and our website.

Will there be toilets?Yes, Portable toilets will be located at the start / finish point of the race course.

First aid.First Aid is provided throughout the race course. Please refer to the race course map.

Transportation.There are multiple public transportation available to the location. Including Luas (red or green line), Dublin Bus and Bus Eireann.
